Employers Conference Leads the Way

The inaugural Equestrian Employers Conference which took place today, 25th February, has been hailed a great success.

The symposium, hosted by the Equestrian Employers Association (EEA), invited a wide variety of leading specialists who covered topical subjects ranging from protecting your business and how to be compliant, to achieving good employment practice.

The day provided an opportunity for employers to voice concerns, which lead to interesting and thought-provoking discussions from the conference floor.

One delegate said “It’s been really educational and interesting. As an employer in the equestrian industry this event has made me realise that you are not alone with the challenges that we all encounter, and that there is help and support available.”

Francis Whittington, Claire King and Victoria Von Wachter held an illuminating session. Francis shared, "The EEA have provided a productive and informative conference. The day showed that there is a real need for education and for business support to help improve understanding and working practice. This is a great step forward for our industry and all connected to it."
